Monday, August 25, 2014 - Dark crimson in color. 15.2% ABV. Incredible nose of red and blue fruits, cocoa powder and baking spices. Great mouthfeel. Almost like liquid silk. The palate has flavors of currants, cassis, chocolate truffle and blueberries. The finish is long and silky. Hitting its stride at 10 years of age but probably best over the next 2-3 years. Fantastic showing from one of the best Merlot producers in California.
