Sunday, December 27, 2015 - Toasty oak nose with wild cherry preserves. Rich, sophisticated but still elegant mouth feel. Well rounded and integrated cherry, raspberry, blackberry and plum fruit. Not full bodied but full flavored. This 2012 still young on it's feet. Quite drinkable now, but the fruit, oak, tannins and acid could benefit from more short term cellaring. A bit of green pepper, graphite, mocha and toasty oak with the fruit on the finish.Even a lingering taste of elderberry.
