As typical for AW, very rich dark fruits, cocoa, and cigar box on nose & palate very tannic, lots of structure, and long finish. I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lower-priced cuvee which I think is a great value at $29/bottle. Per the winemaker, the fruit is all from the Champoux vineyard. Will be great to see what this is like in 4-5 years.
