Saturday, February 19, 2011 - Dark brown core with light hue. Expressive, complex aromas of slight pungent spices, earth, mushroom, game, barnyard with very ripe of mix red, blue fruits and perfume floral, dried tea leaves and touch of fig. Lively, very rich palate with lively acid supporting preserved plum, fig, tons of dried tea leave and mineral that form the medium level complexity and depth. Fully mature, tannin has fully integrated hence the velvety mouth feel and detail texture. The long finish is not powerful, but persistent with again, dried tea leaves aftertaste and traces of alcohol heat. Need to drink up as I feel the fruits are not enough to cover the alcohol. Buy - No.
