Come home from work one night to find your wife has started to cook with it. Shove it back untasted into the refrigerator with a loose stopper and forget about it. Open it up two weeks later and pour a glass. Now if this wine tasted like bad sherry it could only have been my fault. But miraculously it didn't. There was a lilting grapefruit fragrance and some fruit with a straw-like finish, and only minor signs of oxidation. What is this stuff? Clearly there was something really good in here (it's 7 years old for god's sake) before I butchered it. No rating under the circumstances except for the zero that should be tattoed on my forehead. Note to self, figure out how it came into my undeserving possession.
