Wednesday, October 7, 2009 - Nothing profound, but a solid, mature, birthyear Bdx. Cork came out in one piece and the bottle looked pristine, this delivered. Classic cedar, spice and red berry notes that I associate with mature cabernets/blends, and this particular bottle was still youthful at 34. Finish was a touch tannic, but was drunk sans food fwiw. Very pleasurable and a great bottle for celebrating my 34th year on the planet.
