Wednesday, August 27, 2008 - This impeccably stored bottle ordered in Spain from a list was exceptional in every way. Clearly mature, and I at first worried it was way past its prime, but its iced tea color belied its vigor. The nose was great from the start, but once the palate blossomed with air, it was all red fruits and tobacco, packaged in a light-bodied, fully-integrated whole. Definitely mature, or beginning its decline, but a wonderful wine, especially for 47 Euros.
