Sunday, June 28, 2015 - Truffle, smoke, tobacco, plum, vanilla bean, coffee and wild strawberry on the nose. The wine is soft, round and ready to drink, with a soft, supple textured, fresh, sweet cherry finish. This is ready to drink.

7/1/2015 9:07:00 AM - Interesting. I drank this last weekend over three days. It was definitely better and very alive and fruit filled on Day 3. Very tight on the first two days. Different 10 year old bottles I guess.

7/1/2015 10:06:00 AM - I am sure the provenance whether yours or Janoueix, was good. But corks, as you know, age differently, and at ten years can show differently. And yes, personal tastes matter although after reading your 2005 retrospective (excellent by the way) and knowing you for so long, I think I have a bit of a handle on your tastes. Perhaps we can share a bottle when next we drink together.
