Tuesday, October 11, 2016 - A Mostly Grand Cru French Night at Heirloom (Heirloom, St.Paul, MN): Very dark/purple red color. Decanted for 3 hours, drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. Nice bright fruits, cassis, dark raspberry, pencil, earth, herbs and funky interesting note I can't quite put my hand on. The palate is full bodied, earthy, a slight green edge, cassis, black cherry, very nicely integrating tannins. A very good Cos. 92+pts.
