Saturday, November 3, 2007 - An Assortment of 2005 Red Burgundy (The Wine Club, San Francisco): The only wine in this series that showed any hint of red fruits on the nose. This accompanied by higher tones and spice imparted by the light wood. Very nice weight and sap without a sense of overextraction. Excellent length and already with incipient complexity. A great Beaune for sure and my favorite wine of the tasting.
