Wednesday, October 14, 2015 - Decanted and served. Bright, medium ruby/garnet, pale garnet rim. Nose shows pure red fruit, a touch reticent at first, slowly opens, floral notes, touch of cranberry, hint of earth as it opens. Light/medium bodied, pure strawberries, still firm but fine tannins, still a touch reined in and tight, toward the end of the bottle a touch of savoury earthiness on the very good length finish. This holds out much promise but is not quite ready yet. Give well stored bottles another 2-3 years.
