Tuesday, September 23, 2014 - Almost 30 years of Bordeaux: Dark cherry red. In the nose, this is very direct, unbelievably elegant, there are plummy notes, fine spiciness (kardamom, cinnamon), some leather. It's really fine, delicate and inviting. On the palate, it's again very direct, silky, the texture is beautiful, there's fine acidity, very fine-grained tannins, great balance. Beautiful finish. Everything is in the right place here. Great wine and in a great place right now.
