Sunday, December 2, 2012 - Deep plum colour. Expressive nose, with blackberry, blackcherry some smoke, roasted meat, charcoal, persistent. Similar on palate, initially some nice sweet blackberry and cherry fruit, turns a little dry -maybe a little too much oak, still tastes a little raw, decent length of flavour on the finish. Overall pretty tasty, decent acidity and balance - just a little too much oak.
