Tuesday, June 3, 2014 - Oh my, what a beautiful place this wine is in now. Light tulip color. Quintessential Chenin nose of pear, honey, spice, and a tad of mint for even greater interest. Medium weight, completely seamless and integrated, a little sugar balanced by adequate acidity. Tremendous length and that lovely Clos du Bourg soil on the finish. Considering aging potential, one could quibble with the acidity not being higher, but no argument with the statement that it is disarmingly delicious at present. Probably time to start tucking in if you have significant stock.
