Sunday, June 5, 2016 - I don't drink much riesling, so I won't rate this wine. To me, it tastes like other spatleses I've had in the past. It has aromas of honey, petrol, and that citrusy, stony core that seems to define all rieslings, dry or sweet. Good vibrance on the finish. It's delicious, but for me the low alcohol content (8%) makes it taste flat. Should I be ashamed to prefer chardonnay?
