Sunday, March 14, 2010 - Minimal bricking on the color and no browning. Quite clear, with no significant sediment in the glass after a careful pour. Remarkably fruity nose with strong hints of red meat. This persisted for over and hour. The first and strongest note on the palate is bacon fat. This is followed by blood/iron taste of rare red beef and red berries. Also white pepper. I was surprised how firm the tannins were. Drink.
