Monday, May 25, 2009 - Smell is fairly robust: currants, black cherries, the usual... Letting this wine breathe properly smoothed it out a lot. Taste is similar to the nose, add tar. This is a MAN'S WINE! Drink it with a big ol' juicy steak. Not a wine for sipping by the seaside. Great? No. But a decent accompaniment to a big, gluttonous meal.
