Friday, February 7, 2014 - One of the greatest village whites I have tasted. This was so fresh yet complex and engaging. It had a big whiff of smoke to the aroma along with some spice and ripe orchard fruits. It is a rich and powerful wine with real sappy density but is by no means heavy. It is flecked with minerals and there's a strong line of grapefruit acidity. The finish is loaded with chalky dry extract and it is very long. Brilliant!
