Wednesday, December 27, 2006 - Light ruby-red. Sweet, red fruit-and-gravel nose. Juicy in the mouth, with effusive raspberry and apricot flavors. Tannins appear on the finish and grip the gums without drying the palate. With air, a candied note became noticeable on the finish. Still going on Day #4, with the aromas dominated by a sweet cigar/ashtray character. The structure also became more prominent.
