Saturday, March 8, 2014 - Opened, filtered, decanted for 1 hour. Cork completely fell apart but not corked. Tons of sediment. Palate of sweet blackberries, chocolate, mocha, spice and vanilla. Dense but very refreshing. Long finish of black fruits and spices. Velvety tannins. Wonderful. Tasted at our vertical of '04-'09 and it was the winner by all but one person who thought the "07 was better.
