Sunday, June 15, 2008 - On first opening the nose was completely shut. Put immediately into a wide base decanter and swirled it around then let sit for a couple hours. 3-4 hours into the dinner the nose never came around, but the palate was very well balanced! Top notch burgundy for sure, but I'll hold off at least 7-8 years before trying again.
