Like many ripe Zins I have had, this nose climbs way out of the glass. There is a bit of tangyness on the initial taste, which is replaced by rich berries similar to the nose. There is some oak present on the finish and it falls of a little early. I look forward to seeing if the finish develops more as it cellars for a few years. Highly recommended for the $17 retail price.
