Thursday, May 21, 2015 - Solaia ! (Milano c/o Pandolfini): Medium garnet red.
Intense and complex nose. Feathers and leather at first, then nice spices: nutmeg. black pepper. Ripe red fruits and balsamic (camphor) hints at the end.
Full, important mouth: alcohol and fruit; with a nice freshness balancing the alcohol. Tannins a bit "drying"; nice structure and well balanced anyway, persistent. Wide entry and long finish.
