Sunday, December 31, 2006 - This wine is truly berry candy with mouthfuls of sweet vanilla, ripe cherries and white chocolate. Though sexy and smooth at the moment, it lacks the depth and structure needed to age for any extended period of time. Shafer continues to put out some of the finest, most refined merlots on the market.
