Monday, December 31, 2012 - Enjoyed along with several other Oregon pinots. It was somewhat surprising how good this wine showed. Very mature secondary aromas with some smoke, savory cherry and earth notes. Nice mid-palate weight and mouthfeel. Tannins resolved. Silky with very nice finish. Served blind, this could certainly confuse many in being a burgundy. Yes, Oregon pinots can age!
