Sunday, March 1, 2015 - The nose was gorgeously layered and highly expressive showing crushed violet, tobacco, blackberry, blueberry, floral undergrowth with hints of spice, dark soil and minerals peaking out. It was perfectly balanced with resolved tannin on the palate and flavors of dark fruit, currants, saline minerality and blueberry skins. Inner florals lingered long on the finish with refined dark-blue and red fruits. THis is beautiful from start to finish.
