Tuesday, June 11, 2013 - Wow, showing beautifully at this stage. A bright, lifted violet nose moves to a deep, cassis laden palate that manages to remain quite vibrant. Textbook Cabernet. Brilliant.
6/12/2013 7:26:00 AM - Great note. As I've had more aged Betz Bordeaux-style wines over the last year, I'm beginning to believe in laying them down almost without question. A 2003 PdF a few weeks back was also very, very good.
6/12/2013 7:45:00 AM - I am definitely a little sad that I have now finished all of my 1999-2001 Père de Famille. These Cab's in particular do demand a decade or more of age.
