Wednesday, January 9, 2008 - Tasting Group Dinner (Brad's House, Minneapolis): Murky, opaque maroon color. Reticent nose that eventually gives up some mushroom and funk. The palate is very funky and swampy, with some Burg-like cassis and rhubarb fruit in a lightweight frame. Fully resolved tannins without much structure. This was a recent delivery and likely heavily shaken up in transit. I was not a huge fan of this, and don't think it was a representative bottle.
