Thursday, February 4, 2016 - Gorgeous nose of Bordeaux earth. Decanted for 2 hours. Thick and silky on the palate with decadent flavors of dark plums and cassis along with prominant notes of chocolate, rich tobacco and sweet earth. This is a big, voluptuous left-bank wine but it finishes with good structure and grip. Yes, the 90's are decadent and whorish for Bordeaux but there are definitely some nights where that works! Simply delicious.
