Sunday, July 23, 2006 - Possibly one of the best bordeaux's I've had. No signs of aging from the color of the wine. If I had to guess the year from the color, I would have pegged it to be a 1995 CA cab. No need for decanting. A little heat on the nose, but great aromas of dark bing cherries. Well-integrated red and black fruit with a very nice finish. Went well with prime rib and overstuffed baked potatoes. Ultra-fine tannins. This wine rocked! We all agreed that it was showing better than the '86 Haut Brion.
