Friday, March 11, 2011 - Lovely bottle that gradually changed over the course of dinner. Initially a lot of funk and horse poop and possibly a hint of TCA/penicillin. With a little time sweet cherry flavors came forward and integrated with the earthiness while the barnyard and chemical (tca or penicillin) flavors went away. Tannin gone. Interesting to see how much the wine was enjoyed by wife and another lady who generally are not fans of the French or the manure....gorgeous wine...what a great buy this was
