Tuesday, April 28, 2015 - Very solid showing! On the DZH indice scale, I'd give this a 2, tops. Very big and rich in the mouth, and featuring a tell-tale Riesling nose of petrol, minerals (i.e., wet slate), lemon, and grapefruit. Still quite acidic and structured, but accompanied well by the rich, decadent mid-palate of candied lemon drops. The finish was suave and long as well. In good shape now, but I don't think there's a hurry here - a little more enjoyable than the '04 Gewurztraminer Furstentum Veilles Vignes, which was slightly more austere and sharp. Either enjoy now, and hold over the next 3-5 years (or perhaps even longer).
