Friday, March 15, 2013 - Decanted 2 hours. Chunky sediment. Deep crimson right to the thin clear rim. Heady dark fruit and smoky herb nose. Quite viscous and rich with deep, layered flavors of black cherry pie, spiced plum and a bit of dark chocolate. Rich and full-bodied with good acidity and some ripe tannins, this is very long and luscious. Exceptional! Now through 2017.
