Thursday, December 27, 2012 - My first experience with this wine, after having purchased several bottles of the ' 04 and ' 05 vintage. Hmm, I have to confess that I was not overwhelmed. There was so much oak, struggling with the primary dark fruit, there wasn't much harmony. I didn't decant the wine but just pnp. Not sure if that is the right way. I hope the '04 turns out better.

12/27/2012 10:05:00 AM - The 2005 is still a baby. It needs at least 3-4 hours in the decanter. Actually, it needs a couple of more years in the cellar. PnP = disaster!
