Friday, April 6, 2007 - This bottle was decanted for at least 3 hours prior to tasting. Huge nose of blueberries and blackberries and licorice. Flavors of blackberries, cherries, vanilla, and licorice. Full bodied, blockbuster of a wine with a great velvety mouthfeel and a finish that lasts a very long time. Regretfully, we did not purchase any of these when they were readily available at retail, so we will have to rely on the kindness of friends to taste these in the future or take some down at auction. Really great stuff, and a clear WOTN.
