Wednesday, May 16, 2007 - Deep violet color. Nose of blackberries and spice, with meaty undertones. Definitely CA syrah in profile. The palate is also dominated by the bottle-sweet fruit, but with adequate acidity to keep things fresh. Not a lot of oak showing at this point. Not complex, but very enjoyable.
