Wednesday, December 17, 2014 - Dark garnet color. Pop and pour nose is rich in fruit and spice. The palate for this wine is so unique to me, however I will confess I do not drink a lot of 100% syrah. You are initially hit with a punch of spice and blue fruit. Allow it to rest in your palate and it begins to resonate with cassis, earth, cherry. Multidimensional is a perfect moniker for this wine. Long lasting finish that begs for another sip to answer the question - what else is there in this wine?
