Opaque purple colour with bouquet of chocolate, creme de cassis, blackcurrant, pencil lead, and dark red cherries. A lot more dimension and notes when compared to the others. Mid-weight plummy fruit and expressive, complex secondary flavors of mushrooms, tobacco, and herbs. Long finish, still high tannins, wonderful sweetness, massive richness on the mid-palate, and abundant power, density, and ripeness. Glad that I have more of this beauty. It would be brilliant idea to pit this against 1989, 1990 and 2000. Anyone game for this vertical of finest Lynch Bages?
