Monday, June 22, 2009 - Dark purple black. Great nose of leather, barnyard, black currant, pencil shavings, spiice, really lovely. Softer and more ebolbed than I expected on the palate, mid to fullish weight, great interplay of black fruits, a bit of funkiness, and spice. Long finish. Great with grilled rib-eyes.
