Thursday, July 7, 2011 - Medium ruby color with strong Pauillac earth and truffle on the nose. The medium bodied silky texture just caresses the palate with flavors of dark cherry, tobacco, pencil shavings, black tea, truffle mushrooms, and thyme. Very soft and smooth tannins on the finish, but this has enough structure, density and ripeness that can make it last another 10 years. Drink now until 2021.
