Friday, October 17, 2014 - Impressive evolution over 3 hours. First, this wine was totally closed down and unappealing. After 2 hours, the nose finally exhibited cassis, forest floor, tobacco, and graphite. Over the ensuing hour, the fruit continued to emerge and the wine just kept improving. If I were to open another bottle, I would wait 3 hours to start drinking -- I would recommend the same. This started as a disappointment, and finished as advertised.
