Wednesday, October 7, 2009 - I open this bottle last Sunday. Decanted for about one hour. Very oaky and tannic the first night, could not get passed one glass. 24 hrs later less vanilla on the nose, plum, strawberries and hint of barnyard, tannins less intense. Finishing up today (72 hrs later) very enjoyable, tannis still present but better integrated. I will probably wait 1-2 years before trying it again .
