Tasted November 15, 2006 at an offline. One of three bottles opened (one of which was corked). Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose had just a touch of leather up front giving way to plums, crushed berries and a potpourri like perfume. Chewy flavors of black currants, black cherries and ripe black berries. Medium acidity, integrated tannins and medium body. Well balance wine, almost seemless at this time.
