Wednesday, July 4, 2012 - Had been debating when to open this, and had friends who are big BV and Georges de Latour fans over to watch fireworks over the Bay. Perfect time to see if this had anything left. It's color had slight rustiness, like a great aged bordeaux. Good first sign. Aromas were still there. First sip had some fruit still there, with soft but supple tannins. I don't think this has much more time to age, but it was extremely enjoyable as it is now. Bravo BV
