Friday, July 31, 2009 - Still some live left in this cab. Need to decant for an hour or so for it to open up. Had the typical cedar, eucalyptus, and red cassis on the nose. Still has a bit of tannin on top of the deep red fruit and some left over oak. Acidity has begun to fade but the wine still has some nice minerality. I'm guessing this wine will drink well for at least another five years or so. Enjoy!!!
