Community Tasting Note

Sunday, August 15, 2010 - I tasted this wine when first opened and it was tart, tannic and slightly hot with not much going on. I then recorked the bottle in the cellar for 24 hours. It definitely helped to let this wine have some air. It fleshed out and showed much more fruit while retaining its acidity to keep it balanced. It is still very primary and finishes hot. It has many years of life ahead of it, but I am not sure where it will end up. Enjoyable, but not nothing special.
