Sunday, March 10, 2013 - Had again at Alvins. Confirmed my previous notes from a few months ago to a tee. Dark red color showing no age. Very pungent nose of dark fruits, earth and some oak. Gobs of black fruit on the palate, but nicely balanced with a good acidity level and soft tannins. This wine's really in a great place right now. Very enjoyable wine
