Saturday, July 20, 2013 - Went unbelievably well with ribs and brisket from Smoque! They each brought out the smokey side in one another, while the wine also showed a bit of mint and some really nice aged characteristics as well as a bit of an animal rhone syrah side. I haven't peaked at my previous notes but I must say that I really enjoyed the first half of this bottle and I think that this wine will be even better in 3-5 years. 2nd half tomorrow.
