It was good straight out of the bottle, but after a 2 hour decant, it emerged balanced, with a pallet of subtle red and blue berry flavors. Funky? Sure, a bit, in a good way. Fully resolved tannins. I bought a well stored case for $85 per bottle, and I am very pleased with the value. If not for the inevitable headache in the morning, I would pop a second bottle. Good juice at this point in time.
