Monday, May 26, 2008 - Very slow to open up. First impression was there was little fruit and a lot of funk. Could it be the dreaded corkiness? Not to worry. As the wine gained air, it also gained dark fruit, leather and earthy notes with that funk in the background. Saved a glass for day two. Very dark and brooding with silky tannins on the finish. Save the last bottle a coupe years!
